Two months update

It’s been a while since my last post!

I guess the situation hasn’t changed much: still in lockdown, gyms are still closed, and still working out with home equipment.

I lost some focus on March: I believe I relaxed after seeing excellent results in the past months. A normal setback, which, luckily, only slowed down progress rather than ruining it: I’m back full track now and happier than ever that gyms are reopening next month!

Three weeks ago I unfortunately received the news that I got infected with COVID; honestly, if I wasn’t supposed to do a test for traveling, I would have never known: I’m one of those lucky people with zero symptoms whatsoever, not even a running nose or shortage of breath; despite the infection tough I was able to keep on working out.

The positive test convinced my coach to work on strength rather than resistance, for this month: I finally get to load those heavy weights!

I see my bodyweight going up (gained 2 kg), but waist and leg measurements are coming down: I love building muscle and it’s always been my favorite fat loss technique. Complimenting it with spot-on diet makes me believe I’m on the right track for moving to the next level of fitness.

Below a pic of the current status:

Yes I’m posing, but for the first time ever I felt confident enough to share a workout pic in a training bra. A lot of people might think I’m an attention seeker, but guess what? I couldn’t care less.

I’ve had people reaching out saying how motivated they feel when they see me sharing workout pictures and videos, and if 100 people are hating and 1 is feeling inspired, I consider it a success.

Three more weeks of strength training and I’ll be impatient to monitor the results!
